CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – July – THE END

Word Count Timeline Goal
10.781 31 / 31 10.000
It’s the end. It’s been queite a bad month, I have to say. I had all these plans, but when it came down to it, I didn’t get much done. In the end I did at least get the 10.000 words goal. It’s not that I’m not happy about that, but when my goal was four times that amount, you might see why I’m not entirely pleased by the result.

What have I been doing?
This year I had planned to get “A Bloody Rose” completed. I needed six more chapters, and the idea was to get this done, and then just fill up the rest of the time with completing other small projects. It didn’t really happen though. For some reason the time just disappear between my fingers and I just didn’t get much done
.

How is my schedule looking?
After many adjustments to my goal, I finally ended up on the lowest one. I f I had not been able to get here, I would be quite disappointed in myself.

Not much, I know, but this is all for this event. I would have loved to do more, but this time it just didn’t work out like that. Well, there is always a next time in November, so I will try my very best to make up for it  then.

Until next time.

CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – July – CountDown

Word Count Timeline Goal
0 0 / 31 10.000
I can’t believe it’s actually my one year anniversary of NaNoWriMo! It’s been only ONE year! Wow. Anyway, here are a little look at my plans and goals for the event.

What do I want to achieve?
Well, just as always I want to get as much done as possible. I know I say it every, single time, but what can I do when that is the truth? Most of my plans are actually similar too. I want to update my old stories, and finish some of ongoing and unpublished works, but this time I’m also hoping to work a lot on an original story of mine.

My goal when it comes to word count is 10.000. I know, I know. I should probably try to go or 30 – and I will, but I just want to take into consideration that I have other stuff coming up too. And what is this other things, you ask? Well, I’m going on vacation with my voice acting group and this always is in the end of July-beginning of August. This means that I in a way end CampNaNo on the 26th – which means 5 days less to write in. Then there is a festival that I’ll be working on for 2 days. That, and my birthday is the first weekend and I’m gonna celebrate it by going away with a friend that also have birthday that week. This will take 3 more days from my writing – so in a way my number of days aren’t 31, but actually 21.

How do I plan to work?
I’m gonna push myself. Yeah, that’s right. I’m gonna try to squeeze out a minimum of 1k each day, and hopefully pull through!

Projects:
These are the projects that I already have decided to work on.

CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – April – Week 4 – THE END

Word Count Timeline Goal
43.006 30 / 30 30.000
Okay, so this is the end you guys. No more NaNo – until July that is. A summary will be put up under the EVENT page soon, so be sure to check it out.

What have I been doing?
Well, it went as I thought. A lot of stuff happened, and I didn’t really have time to write that much. Also, when I sat down, I chose to focus my energy on getting stories completed – and this meant quite a lot of time reading through already written stories
.

How is my schedule looking?
I did win. I mean, my goal was 30k. The 50k however, well, it was a far fetched goal. Even so, I’m happy I did what I did, and it’s important to remember that whateever word count you ended up with, it was still more that you had when you started. So yeah, I’m happy. i also feel that by focusing on finishing and closing up some projects, I’ll be better focused on the upcoming projects.

That’s all I guess. Oh, and remember to check out my NaNo-summary when it gets up. Oh, and feel free to subscrie if you still haven’t done so. NaNo might be over, but there are a ton of other stuff happening too, so be sure not to miss out on it ;)

Until next time.

CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – April – Week 3

Word Count Timeline Goal
38.250 23 / 30 30.000
Hell yeah! Do you see what I see? No? Well, check out my word count and compare it to my goal. See it? Yeah. I have now passed my original goal.

What have I been doing?
This week I have mostly worked of pushing my words as much as possible. Because of this I fear that much of what I’ve written is a little, well forced
.

How is my schedule looking?
Well, even though I passed 30k, I still have a dream of reaching 50k. I’ve tried to keep up with the 50k-day-count, and even though it’s been some negative days, I’ve managed to catch up quite well. However, it seems like next week is going to be a really preoccupied one, so I’m not really sure of this is actually reachable.

What am I gonna work on until next week?
Well, next week is the end of NaNo, so I guess my focus will be to do my best. I know I won’t have so much time as I’d like, but I will try my best. Also, I think I’ll do some editing and re-reading on some stories that was started on but never published. I knopw that this might not give as many words as writing itself, but I feel that the editing is more meaningful than just puking up new words.
.

Until next time.

CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – April – Week 2

Word Count Timeline Goal
25.678 15 / 30 30.000
Okay, so we’ve passed the second week, and we are now halfway into NaNo! Well, to be honest it’s kinda scary? Why`? Well, even though I’m still ahead of my goal when it comes to number of words, I haven’t been good at writing on the project I had decided to work on. So yeah, I’m kinda a little – or actually a lot – behind on that front. *cough* Well, I hope this will change – and feel free to scream at me – maybe that will help?

What have I been doing?
This week I’ve tried to complete a couple of stories, but did that happen? No, it didn’t. Not that I didn’t try to, but I just didn’t ‘feel’ the scene – if that makes sense. I did get to do something though – two stories based on a Korean drama that just completed. It’s awesome and it’s called ‘Healer’. So yeah, one is in the late editing process, so it should be published soon. I’ve also done quite a bit on ‘Jane Austen’s: Ino’, and I’ve also worked on some non-story-related writing. Oh, and I’ve been posting stuff on ff.net and doing some renovating on this blog^^
.

How is my schedule looking?
Honestly, it doesn’t look that bad. I mean, I set out to do 30.000 words, and I’m now past 25.000 – so it’s looking great in that way. The thing is that I kinda hoped to do the 50.000 one – which basically is the official NaNo-count, but I’ve sinned a little. Sure, it doesn’t look shabby, but I fell behind a little, and even though I caught up, I’m now realizing that I’m probably gonna exhaust myself within the end of the month. Yup, this looks promising when you consider the fact that my exams starts in about a week…

What am I gonna work on until next week?
Until next week? I guess I should beat up my non-functioning self-control. It has not been working lately, and I have to do something about that. So yeah. After that is taken care of, I’ll do my best to complete all my unfinished one-shot and last chapters. I really have to many projects going on now, and I need to ‘clean up’ my desk a little so that I can focus on my bigger projects. Speaking of big projects; I’ve just gotten into the process of planning a new multi-chapter one. Yeah, it’s a bad idea since I’m so slow, but I’m not alone this time, and I hope that will push my speed-button a bit
.

Until next time.

CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – April – Week 1

Word Count Timeline Goal
15.620 9 / 30 30.000
It’s been about one week since the beginning of Camp NaNoWriM0 – and that means that it’s time for a check-up!

What have I been doing?
Well, as soon as the clock ticked passes midnight and into April I jumped unto my stack of projects. I did this because I know that I’m gonna get discouraged later, so why not be ahead of myself as early in the process as possible? That, and I was also gonna leave in the morning to go on a vacation.

Up til today I’ve been working on ‘A Bloody Rose’ – I’ve actually completed the two last parts, I’ve completed a chapter of ‘Burning’, I’ve written two oneshots, and also an article and some reviews..

How is my schedule looking?
Even though it was a vacation it wasn’t without writing. I did try to do my best – and I made sure that I passed the daily amount for the 30k-goal. However, I’ve been a good girl and I’ve had some awesome days – and this actually makes me able to say that I’m actually ahead of schedule – and not only the 30k one (9.000 words), but also the 50k (15.000 words)!

What am I gonna work on until next week?
To be honest I’m just gonna push further just to get the count up. I’m not really sure on which projects, but I’ll probably try to complete some oneshots, and also work on ‘Tainted Love’.

Anyway, I you’re a fellow writer – Keep writing! You can do this. Ad if you wanna sprint with me – just say the word^^ And if you aren’t, well, how about leaving a suggestion for a story – preferably a oneshot – on this page here: [LINK].

Until next time.

CampNaNoWriMo – 2015 – April – CountDown

Word Count Timeline Goal
0 0 / 30 30.000
April will soon be upon us all, and so, here are my plans and goals.

What do I want to achieve?
My goal will (as always) to be able to push myself to continue my existing stories and to create (and complete) a couple of short stories. Basically it’s more about the quantity than quality this month. The reason behind this choice is that I want to train my brain to be able to handle writing on the same piece in a longer period of time.
My goal for the word count is basically 30.000. The reason behind this is that I think this goal should be reachable even while having both work and school in addition to CampNaNoWriMo. Also, the number 30k is easily and nicely divided to 1k each day for 30 days. However, I’m not excluding the idea of 50k. If I’m close to it, then I’ll probably try to push myself over that line, but I feel that it’s better to have a more realistic goal, which make a bigger chance for ending up succeeding.

How do I plan to work?
I will try to write something every day, but the amount of words will make me able to write for 2 or maybe even 3 days at once. Still, I want to try writing the daily amount each day and only let the extra amount be a bonus.

Projects:
These are the projects that I already have decided to work on.
